2020 is the Centennial Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote Under The 19th Amendment.

The 19th Amendment from the National Archives

UPDATE. On June 4th 1919 the Senate passed the 19th Amendment previously passed by Congress on May 21st of the same year - finally granting Women the Right to Vote.

It took another year & a half to to be Ratified as the Law of the Land by the Secretary of State on August 26, 1920.

2020 is a Presidential Election year. It is also the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment that granted Voting Rights for Women.

Historically speaking, the struggle to gain this fundamental right was long & hard.

Making sure that every American has the right to have their voice heard in the form of Voting for the Candidate for Elected Office of their choice is heard is critical for free & fair Elections.

We Vote for people we believe will reflect our best interests for all of the people in their districts, not just some of the people.

When we hear of Voter Suppression & Gerrymandering & terrible ways of subverting the Electoral process, the phrase "No Taxation Without Representation" springs to mind.

Imagine in the year 2020 not being able to Cast your Vote in an Election year JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A WOMAN.

Thankfully, Women CAN Vote, but we still don't have Equal Protection under the law from the Equal Rights Amendment because it has not yet been Ratified into the US Constitution.

Amending the Constitution to the United States of America can be a lengthy & cantankerous process as seen in yesterday's Blog piece Equality EQUALS Peaceful Co-Existence.

This is WHY I keep providing Free Content in my Blog, not in my Store.

In honor of the 100th Anniversary of WOMEN gaining the Right to Vote, we MUST go the additional step to Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment into the Constitution THIS YEAR.

WOMEN need to be Federally protected for Job Discrimination, Bullying, Hate Speech & the list goes on & on.

This information is just that important to get out. It is time consuming, it is exhausting & it has yet to become profitable in the 3 years I've been trying to do this Full Time.

Please consider a One-time Donation, or better yet, Buy my Book.

It's only $7 & you might learn something.
