Every major type of Health Insurance has Special Election Periods for a Life-changing Event. Last week when the Department of Labor released Unemployment figures, the Trump Administration had the opportunity to Open the Health Insurance Marketplace under the Affordable Care Act, affectionately known as ObamaCARE.

Once again he FAILED to do the right thing.

In the middle of a global Health Care Crisis, not only did he FAIL to offer life-saving Health Insurance protection to the public from this deadly disease, he is still marching full-steam ahead with the Supreme Court Lawsuit to declare ObamaCARE to be Unconstitutional.

JAW DROPPING & STUNNING.

A Life-Changing Event includes things like a Birth, a Death, a Marriage/Divorce, getting a New Job, etc.

The Health Insurance Marketplace known as ObamaCARE is the Coverage of Last Resort for people like myself who are 1099 Self-Employed, Freelancers & Sole Proprietors.

People who get Employee Benefits from their Job are ineligible, unless their Employer has set-up their Benefits through the Market Place under revised guidelines in some States.

For a Special Election Period period with respect to getting or losing a job, there are two important pieces of Legislation designed to help:

Both pieces of Legislation deal with Continuation of HealthCare Benefits when a Job Loss occurs.
