What Would RBG Do? Women's History Month Day 17. Ratify the ERA
Encore Presentation. Women's History Month Day 17. Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment in RBGs Honor to protect WOMEN from Hate Speech at the Grammys.
Today's the day the House of Representatives will debate the removal of the arbitrary deadline for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment prior to the Vote this afternoon.
Several Joint Resolutions in both the House & the Senate paving the way for this important piece of Legislation to become the Law of the Land & entered into the US Constitution as the 28th Amendment will be heard this morning.
In January of 2020, the State of Virginia became the 38th State to Ratify the ERA into their State Constitution, giving the ERA the required number of States as required by Article Five .
The ERA has been in limbo since Virginia's Ratification due to a Directive issued by the Trump Administration that prevented the National Archivist from Publishing the Amendment into the Nation's official documents in the National Archives - the final step needed.
The other piece of Legislation making its' way through the system today is the Violence Against Women Act that was allowed to expire.

The Violent Hate Speech in Rap Music amounts to PROPOGANDA.
Imagine listening to GARBAGE like "Bitch Go Die" or Smack a Bitch. The second one is particularly DISTURBING as this is a BLACK WOMAN's HATRED OF WOMEN.
Stuff like this is WHY we also need a HATE SPEECH BILL.
Slanderous violent Propaganda POISONS people's attitudes & opinions.
It LEGITIMIZES this kind of behavior and it is NOT OK.
WOMEN as a Class of People are being SLANDERED with Actual Malice - viscous Malicious Slander in Rap Music Lyrics, in Movies & in Broadcast of all kinds.
Income Inequality for WOMEN was the #1 issue that spurred Ruth down this path because SHE PERSONALLY faced Job Discrimination solely because she was a WOMAN.
How can a white woman feel SAFE let alone get a JOB THAT PAYS ANYTHING when Rappers be screaming "Bitch, Bitch, Bitch at the Grammys???" And that is the TAME VERSION!

Ethics are a standard beyond what is merely Legal. While the Supreme Court hears matters of Law, our Government Officials are duty-bound to a standard beyond the Law: ETHICS.
Everything about the Trump Administration has been SO UNETHICAL beginning on the Campaign Trail it's been stunning to watch.
When Insurance Agents like myself who live & die by ETHICAL STANDARDS are held to a higher Standard than our Elected Officials, I have been about to burst a blood vessel for the last 3 1/2 years now.
When people speak of the complete & total lack of Civility & Decency what they are speaking of is Emotional Intelligence, what they are speaking of is ETHICS.
Bullies by definition have ZERO Emotional Intelligence.
Bullies by definition have NO sense of ETHICS.
Where is the Senate Ethics Committee that is allowing Mitch McConnell to turn a blind eye towards everything going on in the Trump Administration?
It is not just power-grabbing Partisan Politics, it is UNETHICAL.
Congress addressed this immediately in HR-1, also known as the For the People Act:
The For the People Act is still sitting in a pile of House Bills that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is UNETHICALLY stonewalling & refusing to bring to the Senate Floor for a Vote.
Yet he is wasting no time in his power-grab for control of the Supreme Court just like he did with Gorsuch & Kavanaugh now that the Honorable Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsberg's death has vacated yet another seat on the Court.
Make no mistake, the goal has been to overturn Roe/VSWade in an UNETHICAL attack on Women's HEALTH.
