Presumption of Innocence VS Fitness for Office
Senator Susan Collins decision to confirm Judge Brett #KavaNO to sit on the Supreme Court based on a "Presumption of Innocence" appears to be motivated for the right reason for her to reach her conclusion. It's called being fair & balanced.
Presumption of Innocence IS a fundamental right afforded every American Citizen under the Law.
It's called Due Process.
Does this sound like Due Process???
The #BullyInChief who attacked #KavaNO's accuser in the most humiliating way possible, in public at a campaign rally, appears to be defending his own mortifying behavior by proxy, stating that he too has been the "quote/unquote victim" of unfounded claims of assault & harassment.
The Access Hollywood tape is not an unfounded claim - here it is IN HIS OWN WORDS.
The problem is that the #ApprenticePresident IS UNFIT FOR OFFICE & needs to be Impeached under the 25th Amendment, yet here he is about to have his SECOND SUPREME COURT APPOINTEE CONFIRMED in a matter of hours.
This is NOT Partisan Politics.
This is about ETHICS - a moral standard higher than the Law of what is legal or illegal.
