Happy World Kindness Day
This Friday the 13th let's put the emphasis on #WorldKindnessDay.
Traditionally, Friday the 13th is filled with jokes about Bad Luck & Superstitions.
On this "Fri-day" let's be happy that we woke up this morning, instead of "Frying" things we don't like. Instead of airing our Grievances. Instead of Complaining & Passive-Aggressively attacking each other.
When we live our lives with Emotional Intelligence we treat others like we ourselves would like to be treated & Bullying of all kinds would be a thing of the past.
On the one hand, it sounds very Polly-Anna-ish & over simplified to say "Just Be Kind" or "Just Be Nice," but it really is just that easy.
Like Chris Cuomo says on CNN all the time, people need to "Change the 'Me' to the 'We'."
That's what it means to have Emotional Intelligence - Treating others as we would like to be treated.
BULLIES on the other hand have ZERO Emotional Intelligence. It is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to Bully others when you take their feelings into account.
Even as we wait for the Electoral College to Certify the Results of the 2020 Presidential Election, the #ApprenticePresident has filed Law Suits in several States contesting the Count.
It feels like half the Country is "Lawyering-Up" in preparation for a protracted Legal Battle.
Did you know that Litigation (Law Suits) are the Dispute Resolution Method of Last Resort?
It's one of the Main Tennents of Ethics.

Insurance Agents like myself are REQUIRED to be Certified in ETHICS.
ETHICS are comprised of many things like Honesty & Integrity with severe, major consequences for Unethical Behavior.
While watching this Political Legal Posturing in the 2020 Election Results, much of what we're seeing is Voter Suppression, Intimidation, Coercion, Material Misrepresentation of Facts & Unfair Trade Practices to begin with.
Any one of these would be considered Ethics Violations.
I would think an Attorney like Texas Senator Ted Cruz would have been required to Study ETHICS.
Changing the Rules for a Supreme Court Nomination in the middle of the game is not just Hypocritical, it is an UNETHICAL Unfair Trade Practice.
And they got away with it.
So on this #WorldKindnessDay let's NOT be Part of the Problem.
We have GOT TO find ways to Unify this Country.
Let's Be Part of the SOLUTION.
